We made it to Louisville, KY last night. This is our first time in Kentucky and we are impressed. Travel is slow pulling the trailer and we're keeping the oil companies in business because we're only getting 13 - 14 miles to the gallon! We also found a Starbucks in Frankfort, KY. The first one on our trip that was next to the freeway. Today our goal is Kansas City, MO but it's 500+ miles. That would be no problem without the trailer but is a challenge now!
John and Leslie - sorry that your trip got off to such a mechanically challenged start. I think I've cracked the code on getting a message to your blog - hope it "hits!" KY and TN are beautiful states, even in this season of bare trees. Enjoy the mountain views! KCMO will have great BBQ, which will be your reward.
